ABOUT US::
Siskiyou Telephone Company is a rural independent local exchange carrier founded in 1896. Our headquarters are based in Etna, CA. which has a population of 740. We serve the western half of Siskiyou County which covers approximately 2,200 sq. miles.
We are seeking a team member to join our engineering department and head a current project involving conversion of AutoCAD drawings into ESRI ArcMap 10. We are looking for a goal oriented, organized, self-motivated, self-learning individual that is well versed in ESRI ArcMap. After project completion, this job will develop into Telephone Outside Plant Engineering, but will still have a heavy influence in managing the ESRI system.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient in ESRI ArcMap 10
Create and edit shape files
Create ArcCatalog
Create Python scripts
Building multiuser Geodatabases
ArcGIS Server
ArcGIS programming and design
GPS
Land Surveying
Experience with Telephone OSP Engineering, permitting, easements and environmental studies a plus.
SALARY & BENEFITS
Salary Range, $25.00-$35.00 / hour, Depending on Experience
